I went to this range yesterday with my wife and another couple. This was our first time to the range. So, we didn't know what the process was and were quite clear to the employees about this. We first pulled up and walked into what looked to be a cafeteria. We were treated VERY rudely by an old man that was behind the counter. Thankfully there was a young man behind the counter that was very helpful and told us we needed to go to the rifle/pistol range. So, we made our way out to the rifle range to see the Range Master. We also let him know this was our first time here and that we would need to know the process. Well, we were once again treated with rudeness and the prices we were charged were charged are not the prices that are posted on this website. Our intentions were to come to this range and join for a year thinking that we would come back and be able to shoot at the discounted rate anytime we wanted within the year. Well, after our experience...we will NEVER go back to this range again. The range staff that we dealt with was EXTREMELY rude to all four of us and if our friends weren't so exited to shoot that day, my wife and I would have turned around and walked away without shooting.
The Executive Board at IFG is extremely disappointed to hear this complaint. We know we can not make everyone happy, but we also strive to make the Inland experience a good one.
Inland is a non-profit club and opens it's range to the public as a service. For the record here , most of the folks you encounter are non paid volunteers. Unfortunately some are getting a bit old and can be difficult (can't hear well etc.) I am not condoning their behavior, and we will take steps to correct any poor treatment you may have been subject too.
As to the R&P range, If you were charged more than $16 and target fee each, I would suggest you contact the webmaster at webmaster@inlandfishandgame.com and give me the details.
I/ We will not tolerate any mis- charging or rudeness from the R&P staff.
Please except our apology and please give Inland another chance. The rest of us are OK, Really! (you may have had a bad day in your past, would you want the world to judge you on that day alone?)
